Interval drinks included
A cup of coffee or tea before the performance, a choice of beverages during the interval (coffee, tea, soft drinks, light alcoholic drinks) and the cloakroom are all included in the price of tickets for concerts and performances, but not Koffieconcerts, in the Dr Anton Philipszaal, the Lucent Danstheater and the Nieuwe Kerk, unless otherwise stated. The amount of €3 reserved for this in the ticket price helps us to keep the queues at the counters down to a minimum and serve our guests as quickly as possible.
Help Desk
You will find our help desk in the foyer of the Dr Anton Philipszaal. Here you can buy programmes, order a taxi prior to the performance or in the interval, enquire about or hand in lost property.
Smoking is not allowed in our Theater.
Visitors in wheelchairs users have easy access to both the Nieuwe Kerk and the Dr Anton Philipszaal. There is a special lift available in the Parking Spui as of 7.00 pm which gives access to the Dr Anton Philipszaal. Please mention that you wish to use this facility when making a reservation.
Visitors in wheelchairs should report to the Help desk for their own safety and for that of other members of the public. They will be given a plan of where they are sitting and where the exit routes are.
Seats 1 to 5 inclusive and 31 to 35 inclusive on rows 1 and 2 are reserved for those in wheelchairs in the Dr Anton Philipszaal. Row 3 is reserved for those accompanying people in wheelchairs. Hence there are a maximum of 10 wheelchair places available for each performance.
Seats 1 to 6 inclusive and 34 to 39 inclusive on row A are reserved for those in wheelchairs in the Lucent Dancetheatre. Hence there are a maximum of 6 wheelchair places available for each performance.
Rollators are not allowed into the Dr Anton Philipszaal because of fire regulations.
Rollators can be handed in to assistants at Fonds 1818 who will see to it that they are numbered. The assistants will also help you to your seat if this is necessary.

Latecomers
Latecomers unfortunately cannot be admitted because of the nuisance this causes to other members of the audience and the performers. Latecomers will be able to go to their seats in the first interval.
Mobile telephones
We urgently request you to switch off your mobile telephone or other device before the performance starts. It is extremely irritating if a phone goes off during the performance both for other members of the audience and the performers themselves.
Recordings
It is forbidden to make any sound or visual recording during performances and concerts.

Monthly calendar
The Dr Anton Philipszaal and the Lucent Danstheater send a monthly calendar every two months by post. Those who have a subscription to the guests’ programme (or who have already put their name on the mailing list) will receive it automatically at home.
