Job Schellekens
Job Schellekens is 20 years old and lives in The Hague. He studies Jazz-drum at the Royal Conservatoire and is one of our figureheads of the campaign Haagse Muziek 3daagse. See picture on the right.
We asked him what instrument he plays and why?
First I started drumming on pots and pans, but I changed very soon and started drumming on real drums.
How does he feel about the participation of the campaign? For him this is a great opportunity to become more experienced in the professional music scene.
Job is our ambassador before and during the festival. He looks, listens and writes about concerts and the festival. You can follow his blogs and twitter messages on our website. One of his goals is to watch and learn from professionals, making new contacts and heaving a lot of fun!
