A feature of The Hague Three-Day Music Festival is a wide and varied repertoire of concerts and master classes by young musicians and great masters, backed by the impressive backdrop of a trio of renowned venues in The Hague: the Philipszaal, the Nieuwe Kerk and the Lucent Danstheater.

Since we would like to show visitors to The Hague Three-Day Music Festival rather more of our complex than usual, we are inviting you to a number of special mini concerts in equally surprising locations! Normally these rooms, all of them highly typical of our building, are off limits to unauthorised persons but during the festival we are going to be giving you an uncensored look behind the scenes! Several enthusiastic young musicians from the Royal Conservatoire will be providing a musical accompaniment to this tour of the theatre or Musical Carrousel, as we call it. A guide will be present to take you on this musical voyage of discovery which will begin at various set times throughout the day on Saturday 6 March and Sunday 7 March.

The Musical Carrousel is a theme connecting the elements of The Hague Three-Day Music Festival, which you’ll have plenty of chance to enjoy. Why not take a refreshing break from the traditional concert hall and try out a fun, one-off venue and swing along with our musical carrousel!
